With dance becoming more and more popularized by mainstream TV shows, like “So You Think You Can Dance”, “Dancing With the Stars”, and “America’s Best Dance Crew”,  it is finally becoming more acceptable for boys to dance in smaller communities all over the United States.

Dance is such a wonderful art-form, which allows people of all ages, sizes, colors, and genders to enjoy freedom of movement and expression of their inner-selves, individually or together as one.  Dance is athletic, powerful, and disciplinary, and requires strength, focus, rhythm, and hard work.  The male dancer brings an abundance of each of these features to the dance floor, which makes for an exciting, intense, and exhilarating experience  for all of those involved.

This year, we launched our very own all-male hip hop dance crew, ECSOD Beat Boyz.  This past weekend, our crew performed at their first event (The Hmong New Year Festival in Eau Claire) and the crowd LOVED it!  Our crew currently has 5 members and the interest is growing each day.  We are very proud to have a group of young men who enjoy the art of dance and performance!!  Awesome job ECSOD Beat Boyz!!

If you, or someone you know, are interested in joining the ECSOD Beat Boyz, email us at ecschoolofdance@aol.com.
